The trolley is estimated to be completed by 2012 or 2013, which means that when construction finishes on the other TRAX lines next summer, they can just switch right over to the Trolley line. One great advantage of the Trolley line is that the Right of Way is already owned by UTA, so they won't have to do a lease system like they did when they first started the TRAX lines, nor will they have to wait until land is purchased to start construction!

Sugarhouse Trolley
For those of you who haven't heard the news, UTA finally got clearance for the Sugarhouse Trolley line. By which I mean they already all the clearances they needed, they just didn't have enough money to pay for it. Fortunately, they just picked up a $26 Million grant from the Tiger II program, which covers well over half of the total amount needed.
